The first annual CIT Conference was held July 22, 2013 at the State Farm Hall of Business. The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. David Crain, Assistant Provost and Chief Information Officer at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale. He presented the keynote address on "The Future of Technology in Higher Education". In addition, there were 11 track sessions, a networking lunch and birds of feather sessions facilitated for attendees.
