CITNow events are centered around a single topic, and may take place at any time during the year. Anyone may suggest a topic, and the CIT Planning Committee will assist in facilitating the event. These events are an opportunity for IT staff to meet and collaborate on relevant topics now, as they are happening.
A CITNow event would typically be 1-2 hours in length, and could take the form of a presentation, lunch and learn, facilitated discussion or hands-on lab classroom session.
The CIT Planning committee will help you plan and advertise your event through email and the CIT web site. Requirements to be considered a CITNow event include:
- consistency with the CIT mission of collaboration and continuous improvement in technology
- open to all
- no cost to attendees
