CITNow events are centered around a single topic, and may take place at any time during the year. Anyone may suggest a topic, and the CIT Planning Committee will assist in facilitating the event. These events are an opportunity for IT staff to meet and collaborate on relevant topics now, as they are happening.
A CITNow event would typically be 1-2 hours in length, and could take the form of a presentation, lunch and learn, facilitated discussion or hands-on lab classroom session.
The CIT Planning committee will help you plan and advertise your event through email and the CIT web site. Requirements to be considered a CITNow event include:
Please contact the planning committee at isucit@ilstu.edu when you're ready to suggest an event idea for CITNow.
The first CITNow event will take place October 22, 2018, and will center around virtualization. Please join us for a day of discussion on all things virtualization, including the future of virtualization, the current state of ISU virtualization, automation and containerization, the virtual end user experience, and a panel with our vendor partners.
This free event is limited to 50 attendees and registration is required. CITNow will be held in Room 116 in the ISU Alumni Center. Register here today!
